GF91.29-P-3005SK Seat Calibration Function
- with CODE (275) Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors)
- with CODE (242) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory

Normalizing
Normalization is important to ensure the correct relationship between the absolute position of the seat adjustment and the position detected by the driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1) or passenger-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2) (with code 242b).

Normalization must be performed during initial start-up or in a denormalized condition.

The following seat and steering column stop positions must be moved to during the normalization procedure:
^ Seat longitudinal adjustment: front stop position
^ Seat angle adjustment: lower stop position
^ Seat height adjustment: lower stop position
^ Seat backrest adjustment: front stop position
^ Steering column height adjustment: lower stop position
^ Steering column longitudinal adjustment: front stop position

Operating procedure
Press the relevant switch in the left seat adjustment switch group (S22) or the right seat adjustment switch group (S23) (with code 242b, front passenger seat, electrically adjustable with memory) for seat adjustment or in the steering column adjustment/steering wheel heater switch (S59/1) for steering column adjustment until the mechanical stop has been reached and hold it down for an additional 0.25 seconds.

The normalization procedure can also be performed via the diagnostics system.

Renormalization
Renormalization takes place if one of the two above-mentioned stop positions is moved to in a normalized state.

Denormalization
Denormalization takes place:
^ if the Hall sensor signal is not available or
^ the battery is disconnected (G1) or
^ the mechanical stop is exceeded.
