- with CODE (242) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory

Driver seat, steering column
There is a Hall sensor at each of the motors (M27/1, M27/2, M27/3 and M27/5) for adjusting the driver seat and at each of the motors (M20/1, M20/2) for adjusting the steering column.
If there is a
^ manual request for adjustment made by means of the seat adjustment switch group, left side (S22) or by means of the steering column adjustment/steering wheel heater switch (S59/1) or there is a
^ request for adjustment made by recalling the memory by means of the memory button 1,2,3 switch (S22s7), or a
^ request for adjustment is made by the easy entry/exit function and, in these cases, the driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1) does not detect any change in the Hall pulses, then this condition is evaluated as blocking and the actuation is canceled.

Passenger seat
On vehicles with code 242b, electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory.
There is a Hall sensor at each of the motors (M28/1, M28/2, M28/3 and M28/5) for adjusting the front passenger seat. If there is a
^ manual request for adjustment made by means of the seat adjustment switch group, right side (S23) or a
^ request for adjustment made by recalling the memory by means of the memory button 1,2,3 switch (S23s7) and, in these cases, the passenger-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2) does not detect any change in the Hall pulses, then this condition is evaluated as blocking and the actuation is canceled.

If blocking has been detected, reactivation in the same adjustment direction is not permitted again until the request signal has been interrupted for 2 seconds.

A restart in the opposite direction of adjustment is possible right away.
