Function
The seat cushion and the backrest of the driver and passenger seats can be heated in three stages using the heaters (SIH) integrated in the driver and front passenger seats.

The different heating levels are achieved by means of pulsed actuation of the voltage in the heated cushions (R13/1, R13/2, R13/3 and R13/4).

The heated seats (SIH) are operated using the left heated seat switch (N72/1s10) and the right heated seat switch (N72/1s11), which are read in by the upper control panel control unit (N72/1

The function statuses are indicated by three red LED's in the left heated seat switch (N72/1s10) and the right heated seat switch (N72/1s11).

The following control units are involved:
^ Upper control panel control unit (N72/1)
^ Front HS [SIH], head area ventilation and steering wheel heater control unit (N25/7)
^ EIS [EZS] control unit (N73)
