GF91.30-P-2001SK Heated Seats Switch-Off Function

GF91.30-P-2001SK Heated Seats Switch-off Function
- with CODE (873) Heated left and right front seats

Function prerequisites:
^ The heated seats (HS) are switched on

Automatic shut-off of heated seats (HS) via timer control
The front HS [SIH], head area ventilation and steering wheel heater control unit (N25/7) performs the heated seat (HS) timer control:
^ Heating stage 3 stays on for 5 min. Then the system automatically switches to heating stage 2.
^ Heating stage 2 stays on for 10 min. Then the system automatically switches to heating stage 1.
^ Heating stage 1 stays on for 20 min. Then the heated seats (HS) are automatically switched off.

Manual heated seats (HS) shut-off
Press left HS switch (N72/1s10) and right HS switch (N72/1s11) until the respective LED's in the left HS switch (N72/1s10) and the right HS switch (N72/1s11) go off.

The heated seats (HS) are also shut off under the following criteria:

^ Shut-off after ignition (circuit 15R) off
When the ignition is switched off, the heated seats (HS) are also switched off. However, the timer control continues to run for a further 5 minutes as long as circuit 15C is on.

If the ignition is now switched on again, the active stage according to the timer control is also switched on.

^ Switching off in the event of a hardware defect
If actuation of the left front seat heated cushion (R13/1), the right front seat heated cushion (R13/3), the left front backrest heated cushion (R13/2) or the right front backrest heated cushion (R13/4) is detected without a current switch request or functional condition, the heated seats (HS) and the timer control are switched off.

^ Shutting off heated seats (HS) during starting procedure
The power supply is switched off during the starting procedure (timer control continues to run).

^ Switching off in the event of undervoltage
If the undervoltage threshold of approximately 11 volts is undershot, the heated seats (HS) are switched off (timer control continues to run).

If undervoltage is detected, the active LED's in the right HS switch (N72/1s10) and the left SH switch (N72/1s11) flash at a frequency of 1.5 Hz and brightness of 50 %.

The heated seats cannot be switched on again until a permissible voltage has been present for longer than 20 seconds.

^ Switching off in the event of overvoltage
If the overvoltage threshold of approximately 15.5 volts is exceeded, the heated seats (HS) are switched off (timer control continues to run).
