GF83.10-P-2000SK Ventilation, Function

Function
The ventilation system prevents the windows from misting up and ensures that there is a uniform, pleasant temperature in the vehicle interior.
In normal operation, when the vehicle is stationary or to increase the air quantity, through-ventilation is achieved with the assistance of the blower motor.

Fresh air is drawn in through the air inlet in the hood and through the fresh air/recirculated air flap (in fresh air position) in the heater or AC housing.
Depending on the setting, the air is led through the air ducts to the air outlets and into the vehicle interior.
In recirculated air mode, air is drawn out of the vehicle interior by the blower motor through the fresh air/recirculated air flap (in recirculated air position) and passed to the heater or AC housing.
