GF83.40-P-2006SK Regulation Of Comfort Automatic Air Conditioning, Function
- with CODE (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning

Component Identification:

Function
The electronics for controlling the comfort automatic air conditioning (C-AAC) are networked with the entire vehicle electronics via the class B Controller Area Network bus (interior) (CAN-B) and the AC bus. This in turn makes it possible to incorporate additional climate-relevant influences, in order to improve the regulation quality and to lower power consumption.

The following signals are available for the electronic control and regulation of the interior vehicle temperature:

^ the interior temperature via the in-car temperature sensor (N22/7b1) in the comfort AAC control and operating unit (N22/7).

^ the refrigerant pressure by the refrigerant pressure sensor (B12) via the driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).

^ the intensity and angle of incidence of the sun rays by the sun sensor (B32) via the comfort AAC control and operating unit (N22/7).

^ the temperature in the air flow downstream of the heater heat exchanger by the left heat exchanger temperature sensor (B10/2) and the right heat exchanger temperature sensor (B10/3) via the C-AAC control and operating unit (N22/7).

^ the outside temperature by the outside temperature display temperature sensor (B14) via the driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).

^ the position of the left front power window motor (M10/3) via the left door control unit (N69/1) and the right front power window motor (M10/4) via the right door control unit (N69/2).

^ the position of the doors by the left door contact switch (S17/3) and the right door contact switch (S17/4) via the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).

^ the engine speed and the actuation of the electric suction fan/ AC motor (M4/3) via the motor electronics control unit (N3/10).

^ the battery voltage via the electronic ignition switch control unit (N73).

^ the humidity, the ambient temperature and the pollutant concentration by the C-AAC multifunction sensor (B31) via the comfort AAC control and operating unit (N22/7).

^ the evaporator temperature by the evaporator temperature sensor (B10/6) via the C-AAC control and operating unit (N22/7).

^ the ground speed via the instrument cluster (A1).

The following components are actuated for the electronic control and regulation of the interior vehicle temperature:

^ for blower control, the blower motor (A32m1) via the blower regulator (A32n1) by the C-AAC control and operating unit (N22/7).

^ the refrigerant compressor (A9) via the driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).

^ for air distribution the
- fresh air and recirculated air flap actuator motor (M2/5)
- the left and right footwell flaps actuator motor (M2/15)
- the left and right defroster flaps actuator motor (M2/16)
- fresh air flaps actuator motor (M2/21)
by the comfort AAC control and operating unit (N22/7).

^ the duovalve (Y21) for cooling water flow in the heater heat exchanger (Y21) via the C-AAC control and operating unit (N22/7).
