GF54.30-P-2012SK Displaying Check/warning Messages By Means Of Multifunction Display, Function

In the event of any operating malfunctions, warning messages are faded in in the upper multifunction display (A1p13). These warning messages are divided up into 3 categories and stored in 3 fault rolls (U-, W - and N-roll).

Category 1
Warning messages with the highest priority.
These warning messages cannot be acknowledged When they occur a brief warning chime is issued via the warning buzzer (A1h1) and the malfunction is shown in the upper multifunction display (A1p13). Any category 2 and 3 warning messages are cross-faded.

Category 2
Warning messages with medium priority.
These warning messages can be acknowledged with the trip odometer reset button (A1s3). When they occur a brief warning chime is issued via the warning buzzer (A1h1) and the malfunction is shown in the upper multifunction display (A1p13). Any category 3 warning messages are cross-faded.

Category 3
Warning message with the lowest priority.
These warning messages can be acknowledged with the trip odometer reset button (A1s3). There is no warning chime.

U roll
The U-roll is the index of all warning messages which have not been acknowledged and which are displayed in the upper multifunction display (A1p13).
Warning messages of the same or higher priority are faded in after the expiry of the minimum display time of the preceding warning message.
Once the minimum display time for the warning message with the lowest priority the fault roll starts again at the warning message with the highest priority

W roll
All the warning messages which occurred during the journey and were acknowledged are entered in the W-roll The W-roll can be called up at any time in the menu of the upper multifunction display (A1p13). Once the W-roll is called up first an initial picture is displayed with the number of warning messages which occurred. The warning messages are then displayed in the priority order.

N roll
In the N-roll all warning messages entered in the N-roll after terminal 15R is switched off are automatically called up in their priority order.
The number of warning messages entered is displayed in the initial picture. The warning buzzer (A1h1) is actuated briefly, synchronized with presentation of the initial picture. The warning messages displayed must be acknowledged.
If all the warning messages are acknowledged, the N-roll is finished. If no warning messages are entered or all the warning messages entered are acknowledged, the upper multifunction display (A1p13) is switched off after 30 seconds.
If there are still warning messages present which have not been acknowledged, the upper multifunction display (A1p13) is switched off after 2 minutes.
With a discontinuity in the N-roll due to a warning message of higher priority, the initial picture is started again.
