Right side of vehicle






1 Transfer position of borehole (arrow A) from picture A onto vent grille (21) of bumper (22).
The marking is to be accurately centered between the individual struts (21.1) of the vent grille (21).

Left side of vehicle






2 Transfer position of boreholes (arrows B and C) from picture B onto vent grille (21) of bumper (22).
The markings are to be made exactly in the center between the individual vent grille (21) struts (21.1).






3 Align right daytime running lights headlamp (1.1) and left daytime running lights headlamp (1.2) over the markings as made and check installation position.
The right daytime running lights headlamp (1.1) and the left daytime running lights headlamp (1.2) must be positioned such that the left front fog lamp and the right front fog lamp can still be adjusted through the adjusting openings.
The threaded pins (23, 24) must be located above the previously made markings.
The upper marking on the left side of the vehicle is for the wiring harness (25) passage.






4 Make holes corresponding to the previously made markings (arrows A and C) with a diameter of 12 mm on the vent grille (21) of the bumper (22).

5 Make hole corresponding to the previously made marking (arrow B) with a diameter of 10 mm on the vent grille (21) of the bumper (22).

6 Align left daytime running lights headlamp (1.2) and right daytime running lights headlamp (1.1) over the holes made on the vent grille (21).






7 Route wiring harness (25) for left daytime running lights headlamp through the upper hole on the vent grille and mount left daytime running lights headlamp.
8 Route wiring harness (25) for right daytime running lights headlamp through the vent grille and mount right daytime running lights headlamp.
9 Bolt on right daytime running lights headlamp and left daytime running lights headlamp using nuts (26) and washers from parts kit.
The outer nuts (26) are to be mounted through the openings (arrows D). The inner nuts (26) are to be mounted at the side (arrows E).






10 Fit blue line (bl) of wiring harness (25) in each case into slot "1" of both black 2-pin contact carriers (27) included in the parts kit.
11 Fit black line (sw) of wiring harness (25) in each case into slot "2" of the black 2-pin contact carrier (27) included in the parts kit.
12 Fit sealings (27.1) onto both black 2-pin contact carriers (27).
13 Fit locks (27.2) onto both black 2-pin contact carriers (27).
