The actuation of the exterior lamp switch (S1) is read in by the driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) via a discrete line. It actuates the following lamps via discrete wiring:
^ Left fog lamp (E5/1)
^ Right fog lamp (E5/2)

The driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) actuates the front fog lamps indicator lamp (S1e1) in the exterior lamp switch (S1).
