GF82.10-P-3002SK Low-Beams Actuation, Function
- except CODE (614) Bi-xenon headlamp unit

Component Identification:

Manual request
Function requirements:
^ Circuit 30 ON
^ Exterior lamp switch (S1) in position "low beam ON"

The actuation of the exterior lamp switch (S1) is read in by the driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) via a discrete line. It actuates the following lamps via discrete wiring:
^ Left low beam (E1e2)
^ Left standing and parking lamp (E1e3)
^ Right low beam (E2e2)
^ Right standing and parking lamp (E2e3)

The driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) transmits the message for switching the rear lamps on to the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) via the Controller Area Network Bus Class B (interior) (CAN-B).

The rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) actuates the following lamps via discrete wiring:
^ Left stop lamp, taillamp and parking lamp (E3e9)
^ Right stop lamp, taillamp and parking lamp (E4e9)
^ Left license plate lamp (E19/1)
^ Right license plate lamp (E19/2)

Automatic driving light
Function requirements:
^ Circuit 61 ON
^ Exterior lamp switch (S1) in position "low beam AUTO"
^ Message "night" from the rain/light sensor (B38/2)

The actuation of the exterior lamp switch (S1) is read in by the driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) via a discrete line. To switch the illumination on, the driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) additionally requires the "night" message. The "night" message is generated by the rain/light sensor (B38/2).

It is read in by the overhead control panel control unit (N70) and transmitted via CAN-B. The driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) actuates the following lamps via discrete wiring:
^ Left low beam (E1e2)
^ Left standing and parking lamp (E1e3)
^ Right low beam (E2e2)
^ Right standing and parking lamp (E2e3)

The driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) transmits the message for switching the rear lamps on to the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) via CAN-B. It actuates the following lamps via discrete wiring:
^ Left stop lamp, taillamp and parking lamp (E3e9)
^ Right stop lamp, taillamp and parking lamp (E4e9)

Daytime running lamps

Function requirements:
^ Circuit 61 ON
^ The function is activated in the instrument cluster (A1)

The driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) requires the "daytime running lamps active" message, which it receives from the instrument cluster (A1) via CAN-B. Additionally, the driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) requires the "circuit 61 ON" message, which arrives from the EIS control unit (N73) via CAN-B.

The rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) actuates the following lamps via discrete wiring:
^ Left stop lamp, taillamp and parking lamp (E3e9)
^ Right stop lamp, taillamp and parking lamp (E4e9)
