Check Vehicle Level At Front And Rear Axle With Electronic Inclination Measuring Instrument And Adjust, If Necessary

1 Prepare for chassis alignment check

NOTE: Following repair work forcefully move vehicle up and down several times before measuring.

2 Check vehicle level on front axle via cross strut inclination.

CAUTION: The connecting cable (086b) of the measurement sensor (086a) must point towards the center of the vehicle otherwise a faulty measurement occurs.

Fit measurement sensor (086a) and save each measured value.
- Measurement point 1 (left front)
- Measurement point 2 (right front)
- Vehicle level - front axle

2.2 Check vehicle level at front axle via transverse control arm inclination

CAUTION: The connecting cable (086b) of the measurement sensor (086a) must point towards the center of the vehicle otherwise a faulty measurement occurs.

Fit measurement sensor (086a) and save each measured value.
- Measurement point 1 (left front)
- Measurement point 2 (right front)
- Vehicle level - front axle

3 Check vehicle level at the rear axle via the rear axle shaft inclination.

CAUTION: The connecting cable (086b) of the measurement sensor (086a) must point towards the center of the vehicle otherwise a faulty measurement occurs.

Fit measurement sensor (086a) and save each measured value.
- Measurement point 1 (left front)
- Measurement point 2 (right front)
- Vehicle level - front axle

NOTE: Vehicle level outside tolerance at front or rear axle.

- Adjust vehicle level by changing the springs or spring rubber mounts.
