The measuring set 91168589 0763 00 is designed in such a way, that the measuring bolts, according to the measuring points at the vehicle, can be screwed together out of mounting bolts, extensions and measuring tips.

The configuration of the measuring bolts is shown in the table, where the numbers in the column headed "Measuring bolt configuration" are the special tool end numbers.

Component Identification:





1 Reference dimension "V1" as measured between reference socket "K" and ball joint on radius rod (18), left to right.

The bearings at the tension arm and cross strut must be in perfect condition in order to assess the consequences of an accident. Because of the inaccuracies resulting from the tolerances of the bearings, the dimension "V1" is only partially usable.

Component Identification:





2 Comparison measurement "V2" measured from left to right from the check bore "K" to the retaining bolt for the front axle carrier at the front.

This measurement is a reference dimension for the body.

3 Reference dimension "V3" as measured from reference socket "K" to center of bolt holding transverse link to front subframe, left to right.

Component Identification:





4 Clearance dimension "V5" as measured between the left and right front strut domes, at the reference sockets.

This dimension can only be used to a certain extent to assess consequential damage, and where applicable a measurement must be performed on a comparable vehicle.

5 Reference dimension "V6" as measured between reference socket "K" and the center of the bolts holding the radius rod to the front subframe, left to right.

6 Distance measurement "V8" measured to the centers of the torx bolt heads between the rear mountings of the front axle carrier.

7 Distance measurement "V9", measured from centering point of the torx bolt heads between the front bearings of the front axle carrier.

8 Clearance dimension "V10", measured diagonally between the center of the Torx bolt heads on the front and rear supports for the front subframe, left to right.
