Component Identification:

The rotary valve is composed of the rotary slide (4k) with 6 control grooves with ground edges on its jacket surface, and the pilot bushing (4i) also with 6 control grooves corresponding to those on the rotary slide (4k).

One end of the torsion bar (4a) is pinned to the rotary slide (4k), and the other end to the drive pinion (4b). It holds the rotary slide (4k) in the neutral position when the steering wheel is not turned.
