Disposing of shock absorber:





1 Drill damper tube with a 5 mm dia. drill bit, approx. 45 mm (dimension A) distant from the lower damper eye (gas escapes).
2 Push piston rod all the way in and pull out again.
3 Remove protective tube from shock absorber.
4 Drill damper tube with a 5 mm drill bit approx. 30 mm (dimension B) from the upper edge of the damper tube.
5 Pump the damper empty by pressing in and pulling out the piston rod several times.
Observe regulations governing disposal of hydraulic fluid.
6 Dispose of shock absorber (scrap).
