GF27.10-P-3020NK Function of Locking of Selector Lever Position "P"

GF27.10-P-3020NK Function of locking of selector lever position "P"
- Transmission 722.9

Component Identification:

Function of locking of selector lever position "P"
One of the functions of shift lock is to lock the selector lever in position "P".

The selector lever is locked electronically. The selector lever remains locked in position "P" when the brake is not pressed or no voltage supply (circuit 87) of the electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5) is available.

Under the following conditions the electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5) actuates the R/P locking solenoids (89):
^ Circuit 15 ON
^ Signal from BAS release switch (A7/7s1) via the Controller Area Network bus class C (engine compartment) (CAN-C) from the ESP and BAS control unit (N47-5)
^ Selector lever position "P"

The R/P locking magnet (89) releases the selector lever thus allowing the selector lever to be moved away from position "P".
