GF27.10-P-3020P Locking of Selector Lever Position P, Function

GF27.10-P-3020P Locking of selector lever position "P", function
- TRANSMISSION 722.6

Component Identification:

Function
One of the functions of the shift lock is to lock the selector lever in position "P". The selector lever is locked electronically.

The selector lever remains locked in position "P", when the brake is not operated or the electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5) is not supplied with voltage.

As of "circuit 15 ON" the electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5) actuates the R/P locking solenoids, when selector lever position "P" is detected and the brake pedal and thus the stop lamp switch (S9/1) is operated. The R/P locking magnet (89) releases the selector lever thus allowing the selector lever to be moved away from position "P".
