GF27.60-P-5164ACL Electronic transmission-control control unit, component description
- Transmission 722.618/646/694/696

Component Identification:

Location
The electronic transmission control control unit is located in the front of the front passenger footwell.

Task

General
The electronic transmission-control control unit determines the current operating condition of the vehicle and controls all the gear change sequences, taking into account the shift comfort and driving situation.

Controller Area Network (data bus/CAN bus) (CAN)
The electronic transmission-control control unit is connected via the drive train CAN (CAN C) to the vehicle's CAN network, and exchanges data with other control units.

Input and output signals
The following input signals are evaluated by the electronic transmission-control control unit and the appropriate output signals are generated:
^ Direct input signals
^ Direct output signals
^ CAN input signals
^ CAN output signals

Direct input signals
- Tml. 31
- Circuit 87
- Starter lock-out contact (Y3/6s1)
- Transmission oil temperature sensor (Y3/6b1)
- Rotational speed of sun gear (rpm sensor 2 (Y3/6n2))
- RPM of the planetary spider (rpm sensor 3 (Y3/6n3))

Direct output signals
- Modulating pressure control solenoid valve (Y3/6y1)
- Shift pressure control solenoid valve (Y3/6y2)
