Clutch Hydraulic System: Service Precautions

Risk of injury. Drilling gas-filled assemblies or components (gas filling not flammable) may result in injury.

Risk of injury when drilling
There is an increased risk of injury to the skin and eyes due to drilling chips whirling up when drilling gas-filled assemblies. The chips are forced outward by the pressure of the escaping gas and accelerated at speeds relative to the amount of pressure. The greater the pressure the greater the severity of injury. The pressures involved may be 75 bar or above.

Safety instructions/precautions
Wear safety goggles and face mask.

First aid measures
^ Do not rub skin area affected as there is the risk that the drilling chip will break off and remain in the skin.
^ Consult a physician if necessary
