Special Tools:

Component Identification:

1 Insert assembly arbors (046) 116 589 18 61 00 into drill holes of differential case.
2 Mount both rear axle side gears (17) with thrust plates (18) on the assembly arbor (046) in the differential case.

Component Identification:

3 Position both differential bevel gears (15) and spherical washers (14) together and exactly opposite in the differential case and screw in using assembly arbors (046).

Component Identification:

4 Instead of differential pinion shaft, push assembly arbor (021) 126 589 02 15 00 into differential case to secure differential pinions and spherical washers.
