AR35.30-P-0115-01V Remove/install and secure rear axle shaft twelve-point collar nut

Rear Axle Shaft:

Component Identification:

Detaching
1 Apply parking brake
2 Loosen and unscrew twelve-point collared nut (12).

Mount on and secure
Replace twelve-point collar nut (12).

3 Tighten twelve-point collar nut (12).
4 Use a caulker to secure the twelve-point collar nut (12) so that no gap remains between the groove and locking collar of the twelve-point collar nut (arrow).
5 Release parking brake.
