The power window system (PW) allows opening and closing the front and rear window.

Front window:
^ Manual and automatic raising and lowering via:
- Driver-side power window switch group (S20/1)
- Passenger-side power window switch group (S21/2)
^ Convenience closing/opening via:
- Recirculated air function
- Vario roof actuation switch (S84s1)
- Transmitter key (A8/1) (only on vehicles with code (880a) Closing system with infrared remote control)
^ Desmodromic valve control for opening and closing doors (short stroke)
^ Desmodromic valve control for opening and closing Vario roof

Rear windows:
^ Convenience closing/opening via:
- Recirculated air function
- Vario roof actuation switch (S84s1)
^ Desmodromic valve control for opening and closing Vario roof

With the convenience functions it is possible to open/close the window centrally from one control point.
