- up to model year 08

Component Identification:

Function prerequisites for convenience closing/opening via recirculated air
^ Circuit 15 ON
^ No undervoltage or overvoltage
^ Front power window synchronized
^ Front window should be open slightly (position recognition counter value greater than 16)

The rear windows are only closed and opened when the Vario roof closed.

Convenience closing function via recirculated air
When the recirculated air switch (N18s2, N22s2 or N22/7s2) is actuated and held down, the current window positions of the front power windows are stored and the windows are closed.
The request is transmitted to the left door control unit (N69/1), right door control unit (N69/2) and the power soft top control unit (N52) by the control and operating unit (N18, N22 or N22/7).

The left door control unit (N69/1) actuates the left front power window motor (M10/3). The right door control unit (N69/2) actuates the right front power window motor (M10/4).
The power soft top control unit (N52) actuates the left rear power window motor (M10/5) and the right rear power window motor (M10/6).

The stored window positions remain stored for 5 minutes after c. 15R or c. 15 OFF, if the doors are not opened and the vehicle is locked or unlocked via the transmitter key

Function abort
^ Actuation of driver-side power window switch group or passenger-side power window switch
^ Lock-up recognition for front power window
^ Actuation of excessive force limitation.

Convenience opening function via recirculated air
When the recirculated air switch (N18s2, N22s2 or N22/7s2) is actuated and held down, the driver and passenger windows are opened to the positions stored previously during convenience closing via recirculated air.

The rear windows are opened completely when window motion was recognized previously when closing via recirculated a The request is transmitted to the left door control unit (N69/1), right door control unit (N69/2) and the power soft top control unit (N52) by the control and operating unit (N18, N22 or N22/7).

The left door control unit (N69/1) actuates the left front power window motor (M10/3). The right door control unit (N69/2) actuates the right front power window motor (M10/4).
The power soft top control unit (N52) actuates the left rear power window motor (M10/5) and the right rear power window motor (M10/6).

Function abort
^ Actuation of driver-side power window switch group or passenger-side power window switch
^ Obstruction detected
