GF72.29-P-4003SK Synchronization Of Power Windows, Function
- up to model year 08

Synchronizing
Synchronization is the learn-in procedure for the upper mechanical window stop (zero point) in the left door control unit (N69/1) an right door control unit (N69/2).
For this purpose, the corresponding window must be closed completely with the left power window switch (S20/1s1), the right power window switch (S20/1s2) or the passenger-side power window switch group (S21/2) and held down the left door control unit (N69/1) and right door control unit (N69/2) then sets the position counter for the Hall signals to zero if it recognizes a lockup of the left front power window motor (M10/3) or right front power window motor (M10/4) for approx. 1 s.

Desynchronization
Desynchronization is performed if:
^ a position counter status greater than the maximum window travel is reached
^ a position counter status going beyond the stored zero position is reached
^ the power supply is missing for longer than 60 s.
^ one of the two Hall sensor signals of the left front power window motor (M10/3) or right front power window motor (M10/4) is erroneous

Synchronization and desynchronization of the left rear power window motor (M10/5) and the right rear power window motor (M10/6) is not performed.
