Component Identification:

Function prerequisites:
^ Circuit 15R ON

Function
Wiper operation is suppressed when:
^ combination switch (S4) is in position "I" (interval) and
^ driver or passenger-side door is open
^ speed is less than 5 km/h.

Opening the driver or passenger-side door does not interrupt wiper operation that is currently in progress. The wipers move t the park position.

The wipers resume operation after suppression if:
^ the clutch is actuated (with transmission 716) or
^ the selector lever is moved from "P" or "N" to a drive mode (with transmission 722) or
^ the speed is faster than 8 km/h or
^ the combination switch (S4) is moved from position "I" to position "II" or position "III".
