GF82.30-P-4007SK Slowing Down Wiper Motor, Function

The wiper motor (M6/1) is braked if the wipers are to be stopped in the park position from active operation.

Function
To brake the wiper motor (M6/1) the motor winding is short-circuited via a field-effect transistor by the driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).

The wiper motor (M6/1) has a cam switch for recording the park position. When the motor runs through the park position, the cam switch is actuated.
The cam switch signal is continuously interrogated by the driver-side SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
