Removing And Installing The Injection System Control Module







Removing/installing

DANGER:
- Risk of injury to fingers being jammed or squeezed when removing and installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/tailgate or sliding roof.
- When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.


1 Open engine hood and raise to vertical position
2 Carry out control module adaptations using STAR DIAGNOSIS
- Only when replacing the control module ME (N3/10).

3 Unlock cover (1) of the right fuse box (F1/1) and take it off
- Inspect rubber seal in cover (1), replace if necessary.

4 Disconnect plug connections (2) at ME control module (N3/10)
5 Lift ME control module (N3/10) up and out
6 Install in the reverse order
7 Read out DTC memory
