- Control and operating unit at front






1 Remove loudspeaker in instrument panel
2 Remove right trim strip on instrument panel
3 Unscrew screws (2)
4.1 Remove the AAC control and operating module (N22) together with the center air nozzle (1) from the instrument panel
- On vehicles without code (581b) comfort automatic air conditioning.

NOTE: Until the electrical connectors (3) are accessible.

4.2 Remove the comfort AAC control and operating module (N22/7) together with the center air nozzle (1) from the instrument panel
- On vehicles with code (581b) convenience automatic air conditioning.

NOTE: Until the electrical connectors (3) are accessible.

5 Disconnect electrical connectors (3, 4)
6 Unscrew screws (arrows)
7.1 Remove the AAC control and operating module (N22) from the center air nozzle (1)
- On vehicles without code (581b) comfort automatic air conditioning.

7.2 Remove the comfort AAC control and operating module (N22/7) from the center nozzle (1)
- On vehicles with code (581b) convenience automatic air conditioning.

8 Install in the reverse order.
