Function
The C-AAC [K-KLA] multifunction sensor (B31) records the following measured values:
- ambient temperature
- humidity
- pollutant concentration (CO, NOx) of the air drawn in and transmits the measured data to the comfort AAC control and operating module (N22/7).

The measured values of the C-AAC [K-KLA] multifunction sensor (B31) are required by the comfort AAC control and operating module (N22/7) as the basis for calculating the climate control, recirculated air control and for actuation of the refrigerant compressor (A9).

If the pollutant concentration in the outside air exceeds a dynamic, adaptive threshold value, the actuator motor for the fresh air flaps and recirculated air flaps (M2/5) switches the recirculated air flap towards interior air recirculation. If the value drops further, the comfort AAC control and operating module (N22/7) controls the recirculated air flap via the fresh air/recirculated air flap actuator (M2/5) towards fresh air supply.

Function prerequisites for the automatic switching:
- AC OFF-Button not pressed
- outside temperature > 7 °C
- activated carbon filter pushbutton actuated
