Humidity Sensor: Service and Repair

AR83.40-P-6740T Remove/Install Air Humidity Sensor
- without CODE (581b) Convenience automatic air conditioning






1 Open hood and raise to vertical position
2 Disconnect ground cable of battery
3 Unscrew nut (3)
4 Unclip air cleaner housing (2) from clamps (1) and remove
5 Rotate air humidity sensor (B31/2) 90 degrees in direction of arrow and remove.
6 Disconnect electrical connector at the air humidity sensor (B31/2)

NOTE: Ensure that the electrical connector does not drop into the AC housing.

7 Remove air humidity sensor (B31/2)
8 Install in the reverse order
5 Install in the reverse order.
