Function
If the signal for the one-touch up function is present at the time of pinching, the drive is only stopped.
If the control then recognizes that left front power window switch (S20/1s1), right front power window switch (S20/1s2) or passenger-side power window switch (S21/2) is in the non-actuated position, the window is opened approx. 10 mm.

If, at the time of pinching, the non-actuated of the left front power window switch (S20/1s1), right front power window switch (S20/1s2) or passenger-side power window switch (S21/2) is recognized, the window is opened approx. 70 mm.
On the driver's window, the excess force limiter is switched off in addition for approx. 10 s after a recognized reverse.

Adaptive excess force limiter
When the window is raised, sluggishnesses when rolling up the window are stored and used for preliminary control when the window is actuated again. This adaptation feature is active wit each normalized window raising function. The adaptation is accomplished in the same area in which the excessive force limitation is active.

The adaptive values are reset when impermissible location counter statuses cause denormalization.
Adaptation does not take place if
^ obstruction is detected,
^ a window is locked up.
