Turn Signal Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. On models with tilt column, remove upper extension shroud by unsnapping shroud retaining clips at the 9 o'clock position.
3. Remove five attaching screws, then separate and remove two trim shroud halves.
4. Grasp turn signal switch lever by grasping and using a twisting pulling motion while pulling lever outward.
5. Peel back foam shield from turn signal switch, then disconnect two turn signal switch electrical connectors.
6. Remove two screws attaching turn signal switch to lock housing, then disengage switch from housing and remove.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
