LINCOLN-MERCURY 1981 TO PRESENT - LYNX, LN7

This article describes holding fixture for removal of distributor drive coupling pin, When removing the stator assembly using the procedures found in Section 23-05 of the Shop Manual, use a 5/32" diameter punch to drive out the coupling pins. Do not use 1/8" punch as previously specified.

The fixture shown in Figure 21 should be used to assist the removal of bound or stuck pins. The fixture may be made from 1/4" stock.
