Test 14, Ground Circuit

Ground Circuit Test Connections:






Procedure
1. With ignition ``Off,'' install a straight pin into module black wire, Fig. 1. Connect a suitable voltmeter positive lead to straight pin and ground negative lead to distributor base. Turn ignition ``Run'' and measure voltage.
2. If voltage obtained is more than 0.5 volts, circuit is satisfactory. Proceed to test 15. Test 15, Distributor Ground Circuit
3. If voltage obtained is less than 0.5 volts, replace ignition module.
