The following front shock strut kits contain a spacer and instruction sheet which are to be used with an "onion" upper strut mount (Figure 12).

When installing these shock struts, if insufficient shaft threads exist for attaching nut engagement, cut 6 mm
off the spacer. Spacer can be cut off using a hacksaw. Care must be taken to cut off the spacer squarely.
