SHOP MANUAL REVISION - 1984 - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES - EEC IV SERVICE CODE 22

FORD 1984 MUSTANG, THUNDERBIRD, CROWN VICTORIA WITH 5.0L CFI

LINCOLN-MERCURY 1984 CAPRI, COUGAR, GRAND MARQUIS, LINCOLN, MARK, CONTINENTAL WITH 5.0L CFI

CALIBRATIONS: All with 5.0L CFI

WARNING: This modification is authorized only for the listed engines. Performing this modification on other engine calibrations is unauthorized and could create liability under applicable federal or local laws.

For 1984 5.0L CFI vehicles only, a Quick Test Service Code 22 will occur during Key-On/Engine-Off testing when the ambient barometric pressure exceeds 30.00" Hg. A Service Code 22 under this condition is normal and no corrective action is necessary. Please notate page 21-10, Volume H of your 1984 Shop Manual.
