The passenger side power door lock switch may bind against the door lock switch trim panel and cause the switch to be difficult to operate or stick. To correct this, the trim panel flashing should be removed using the following procedure.
1. Remove the door lock trim panel.
2. Remove switch assembly from trim panel.

3. From backside of trim panel, remove plastic flashing as indicated in Figure 9.
4. Attach switch assembly to trim panel and check for free movement.
5. Install trim panel to door.
