Engine VIN Code
To identify any engine by the manufacturer's code, follow the four steps designated by the numbered blocks.
Engine Identification:
(1) MODEL YEAR IDENTIFICATION: Refer to illustrations of Vehicle Identification Number (V.I.N.).
(2) ENGINE CODE LOCATION: Refer to illustration of V.I.N. plate for location and designation of engine code.
