1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering wheel as described under SEAT BELTS AND HORN/COMPONENT REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR PROCEDURES/STEERING WHEEL & HORN SOUNDER.
3. Remove combination switch as described under VEHICLE LIGHTING/COMPONENT R&R/COMBINATION SWITCH.
4. Remove turn signal/headlamp switch lever retainer attaching screws, then carefully remove lever from combination switch, Fig. 5. Use care not to lose lever detent balls.
5. Remove wiper switch to combination switch attaching screws, then remove wiper switch, Fig. 6.
6. Remove wiper switch lever from combination switch, Fig. 7. Use care not to lose O-ring, retaining pin detent plunger and spring.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
