Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Pull back on the front edges of both center carpet panels. Disengage push pin retainers.
3. Remove the retaining screws and carpet panels.
4. Remove screws retaining the Electronic Control Assembly (ECA) to the floorpan.
5. Disconnect connectors and remove the ECA.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the connectors to the ECA.
2. Install ECA to the floor pan with retaining screws.
3. Reinstall the center carpet panels.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
