Wiper Gear Box: Service and Repair

1. Remove wiper arms as follows:
a. Lift cover, then remove wiper arm attaching nut from shaft.
b. Carefully pry arm from shaft.
2. Remove lower windshield molding.
3. Gently pry linkage from ball socket at windshield wiper motor.
4. Remove attaching caps and bolts from pivot shafts.
5. Remove windshield wiper linkage.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque pivot shaft attaching bolts to 7-9 ft. lbs.
