Wiper Gear Box: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. With hood closed, remove seven screw covers from cowl grille screws.
3. Remove seven cowl grille screws, the cowl grille.
4. Pry up four baffle retaining clips, then remove baffle trim piece.
5. Remove two retaining screws from each pivot shaft, then remove pivot shaft and wiper linkage assembly.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque pivot shaft retaining screws to 61-87 inch lbs.
