27 - Basic Engine
^ Check the following:
- Engine compression.
- Oil level.
- Valve cover.
- Crankshaft.
- Oil pan.
- Oil filter.
- Oil pump.
- Cylinder head.
- Engine block.
- Valves.
- Timing belt.
- Intake manifold.
^ Is the basic engine OK?
YES -- Return to the Diagnostic Routine Index and check for other concerns.
NO -- Service as necessary.
