Differential Pressure Feedback Electronic EGR Sensor

DPFE Sensor:

The Differential Pressure Feedback EGR (DPFE) sensor converts varying exhaust pressure signals into a proportional analog voltage. The pressure signals are received through two hoses:

- REF SIGNAL; downstream pressure
- HI SIGNAL; upstream pressure

The DPFE sensor outputs a voltage proportional to the pressure drop across the metering orifice. The PCM computes this signal for optimum EGR flow.
