Test Step 1

^ Connect engine analyzer to view parade display of ignition system secondary.

^ While slowly increasing engine rpm from idle to 2000 rpm, compare engine analyzer display to the following illustrations. After matching illustration, proceed to the test step indicated under image button.

NOTE: The illustrations shown are four cylinder but are typical for all engines.

^ After testing is completed, disconnect the engine analyzer.
