ROC1 Perform Relay Click Test

- Check the fuel pump relay:

- Key OFF.

- Connect Rotunda NGS Scan Tool 007-00500.

- Key ON.

- Select ENGINE.

- Select ACTIVE TESTS.

- Select FUEL PUMP RELAY.

- Turn the fuel pump relay ON and OFF with the NGS Scan Tool.


- Check the PCM relay, A/C relay, HFAN1 relay, HFAN2 relay, LFAN relay and FICD relay:


- Key OFF.


- Install Rotunda Breakout Box 007-00033, or equivalent with Rotunda Breakout Box Adapter 007-00053 (leave the PCM disconnected).

- Locate the relay in question.


- Key ON.

- Ground relay BOB Pin.

- Does the relay click?

YES -- If sent here from QT11, RETURN to the Diagnostic Routines. Diagnostic Routines Index

Otherwise, REPLACE the PCM for all relays except the FICD relay.

For FICD relay, CHECK the A/C system.

NO -- GO to ROC2. ROC2 Check SIG Wire For Short
