REMOVAL
1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly.
2. Using chisel, unstake and remove halfshaft nut and washer. Discard nut and washer.
3. Remove brake pads and caliper from vehicle.
4. Support caliper with wire strung from coil spring. Do not disconnect brake line from caliper.
5. Disconnect tie rod end from steering knuckle.
6. Remove ball joint pinch bolt, then separate control arm from steering knuckle.
7. Remove steering knuckle to strut assembly bolts.
8. Using knuckle puller T87C-1104-A and step plate D80L-630-3, or equivalents, remove rotor and hub assembly from steering knuckle.

NOTE: Dust shield is pressed onto steering knuckle. If bearings are not being serviced, leave shield in place.

INSTALLATION
1. Install rotor to hub. Tighten bolts to 44-54 Nm (33-40 ft lb).
2. Press hub and rotor assembly into steering knuckle.
3. Position steering knuckle on strut, then install retaining bolts. Tighten bolts to 93-117 Nm (69-86 ft lb).
4. Raise lower control arm and position lower ball joint stud in steering knuckle, then install ball joint pinch bolt.
5. Tighten pinch bolt to 43-54 Nm (32-40 ft lb).
6. Install brake pads.
7. Install caliper.
8. Install new halfshaft retaining nut, then tighten to 157-235 Nm (116-174 ft lb).
9. Install wheel and tire assembly, then tighten lug nuts to 90-120 Nm (65-88 ft lb).
