Intake Manifold: Service and Repair

1. Relieve fuel system pressure.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable and drain cooling system.
3. Disconnect air intake tube and air bypass hoses.
4. Disconnect main engine harness connection and Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) connector.
5. Disconnect necessary vacuum hoses from throttle body.
6. Disconnect fuel lines at fuel filter and pressure regulator.
7. Disconnect throttle cable and hoses from BAC valve.
8. remove BAC valve nut and bolt.
9. Remove intake manifold bolts and nuts from support bracket and cylinder head.
10. Remove intake manifold and throttle body assembly.
11. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten intake manifold to 14-19 ft lb.
