SML2 - Check SML Wire For Short

- Key OFF.

- Install Breakout Box (leave PCM disconnected).

- Measure the resistance between BOB Test Pin SML and ground.

- Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

Yes -- TEST the SML bulb. If OK. Replace the PCM.

Otherwise, Replace the SML bulb.

No -- Service the PCM SML wire to data link connector for shorts.
