Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair
1.
On models equipped with airbag, disarm airbag system.
2.
Disconnect battery ground cable.

Remove retainer and outer white nylon washer from pedal pin. Slide switch off brake pedal pin far enough so that outer side of plate of switch clears pin. Remove switch.
4.
Reverse procedure to install.
5.
On models equipped with airbag, rearm airbag system.
