DD33 - Check EGRV Solenoid Valve Function



- Key "OFF".

- Disconnect the EGR Vacuum (EGRV) solenoid output vacuum hose at the solenoid output port.

- Install a vacuum gauge at the output port of the EGRV solenoid.

- Rerun Key On Engine Running (KOER) Self-Test while observing the vacuum gauge reading.

- Does the vacuum signal decrease and then increase again?

Yes -- Remove the vacuum gauge. Go to DD34. DD34 - Check EGRV Solenoid Output Port Vacuum Hose

No -- Replace the EGRV solenoid assembly. Remove the vacuum gauge. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
